Ekstasis I

Through the pure bright shadows
Wades the minds eye
Full of illusions that trouble the mind
A whirling swarm of shadows, figments
Of taste, sights, and sounds

Memories, desires of unfulfilled needs
Passions, fears of fears untold
Secrets not yet known
Lives lived never growing old
Copy paste rewind modified
Lived again
Not the same but changed
Played over again
Never the same but changed
Changed into new myths new figments
Tricking the senses lying to them
And then the bright shadows fade
Into the dull light of life
